And just like that, it’s already February! We hope you have spent the last couple of months enjoying all those missed moments with family, and indulging in all the festivities that summer has to offer. However, the fun is not over yet, as our thriving community is putting on some incredible events this month that you and the family are sure to love.

12 Angry Men

When: 9th – 12th February 2022

Bunjil Place welcomes the award-winning Windmill Theatre Company to present the modern-day classic 12 Angry Men.
The performance follows 12 members of a jury deliberating and attempting to reach a unanimous decision of a murder trial. As all men are locked inside the room, personal issues rise to the surface and conflict threatens to derail the delicate process that inevitably decides the fate of the accused. This wonderful show brings laughs, tears and all-around entertainment for all.

Come down to watch your favourite team and support the AFLW league this Sunday at Casey Fields!

The Summer of Footy campaign in Casey brings you a day full of family fun, with activities, food and beverage available on the day. Watch as the Melbourne Football Club takes on the GWS Giants in Round 6 of the home & away season. The state rivals will go head to head just after midday and with both teams fighting for a spot in the finals, it is sure to be an exciting one.

Bring out your navy blue and red, and enjoy the afternoon!

It’s Back!

That’s right, Sunday Sessions at The Old Cheese Factory in Berwick are back and better than ever in 2022.

Gather your friends and family and head down for a spectacular day of entertainment, street food, live music and more on the picturesque grounds, whilst the kids run amok in the gardens and the large playground.

Connecting Worlds With Words

When: 19th February

The first event of its kind, Connecting Worlds With Words is a three-venue live virtual-physical hybrid event that will activate public urban spaces and celebrate the power of spoken word.

Through embracing new technologies, Federation Square, Bunjil Place and Aotea Square in Auckland will come together via livestream to welcome you to experience the rush of connection within powerful and performative art forms, with spoken word performances by artists from New Zealand and Australia.

For those who are confident with the spoken word, there are even opportunities for you to perform too, should you wish.

Leo Club Pancake Brunch

Where: Cranbourne West Community Hub

Becoming a Leo is something in which many young members of the Lions Club wish to become. The Leo’s of Cranbourne Lions Club are devoted to helping the community, having fun and realising the power of action.

As such, the club is hosting a pancake brunch for young locals aged between 12-17 years that are interested in becoming a Leo, to attend this event and learn about what it means to be a Leo and how you can achieve this fantastic opportunity.

Summer Sounds 2022

The Summer Sounds outdoor music festival returns to Bunjil Place Plaza for its fifth season, bringing good music and great summer vibes to the community. Enjoy sounds of soul, funk and pop from the incredible event lineup including artists such as Billy Davis and the Good Lords, Sumner, and The Mamas.

Your ticket includes a complimentary beverage on arrival, and there will also be a delicious assortment of food and drinks available at the bar throughout the night.

Thankfully, Cranbourne West Community Hub will be conducting these wellbeing sessions weekly on Wednesday mornings for all who wish to join. You will be instructed by professionals and joined by many in your local community.
