The silly season is here with lots of festive events to celebrate and enjoy with family and friends. Visit the annual Twilight Christmas Markets and grab some unique gifts, enjoy Carols by Twilight at Max Pawsey Reserve or enjoy a fantastic Christmas concert by amazing vocalists, The Tenors, there is plenty to see and do this holiday season.

Twilight Christmas Makers Market and Lighting of the Tree

When: Saturday, 2nd December

Where: Bunjil Place Plaza, 2 Patrick Northeast Drive, Narre Warren, Victoria, 3805

Start the festive season at the Twilight Christmas Makers Market. This annual event kicks off the holiday season with the spectacular lighting of the Christmas tree at Bunjil Place Plaza at 8pm. 

The Makers Market is fantastic for Christmas shopping with over 70 stalls with everything from ceramics, fashion, jewellery, textiles, prints, homewares and more! Not only is it great for shopping but there will be food trucks, live music, workshops and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Christmas Family Film: Gremlins

When: Sunday, 17th December

Time: 4.30 pm – 6.40 pm

Take the whole family to see this great Christmas classic, the Gremlins. A hilarious film for kids and adults, the film is about a salesman buying a strange furry creature for his son for Christmas. Little do they know these cute creatures turn into ‘gremlins’ , create chaos and run amok on Christmas Eve.

The Ten Tenors – Family Christmas

Back by popular demand this Christmas Season are The Ten Tenors, showcasing a new Christmas Concert for their fans. It’s a fantastic family event for the whole family to get into the Christmas spirit with all the favourite Christmas classics performed by amazing vocalists such as It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year, The Little Drummer Boy, Feliz Navidad and Last Christmas as well as traditional family favourites, including Joy To The World and 0 Holy Night.

Christmas Film: National Lampoons Christmas Vacation

When: Friday, 22 December

Enjoy the favourite Christmas Classic at the theatres this month. A movie for the grown ups to kick back, relax  and have some laughs before the busy Christmas period. There is also a live performance by Thea Fitzgerald before the feature film, with fun tunes of pop, soul, RnB, funk, folk and jazz.

Carols by Twilight

Spend Christmas Eve in the community with this fantastic outdoor event by the City of Casey. Each year thousands of families gather at Max Pawsey reserve to enjoy joyful music, rides, food and a great festive atmosphere. Bring the whole family to enjoy this spectacular christmas event held each year in Narre Warren.

Go with the Flow at Wilson Botanic Park

When: Every Tuesday in December

Where: Wilson Botanic Park Berwick, 668 Princes Highway Berwick, VIC 3806

Enjoy the outdoors while finding movement at this Vinyasa Yoga Class for all levels. The class is taken on the beautiful deck overlooking Anniversary lake. Find strength, stability and ease as you link movement and breath in this yoga class everyone is welcome to join. Remember to bring your own yoga mat, towel and water.
