Whether you are brand new to the Casey area or moving estates and looking for something fun to do in the area, there is so much going on near Eliston. We have put together a best of the best list to keep you entertained and most importantly, warm, throughout the start of Winter.

Cycle for fun and fitness!

When: 5 June – 28 August 2017, 9am-12pm

Where: Lynbrook Community Centre – Corner of Lynbrook Boulevard and Harris Street , Lynbrook 3975

What: Join a social group of people who love to ride casually on local cycling paths and a small distance from the roadside.

Cost: FREE

Who should attend: This event is mostly suited for adults.

Harry Kewell Academy Masterclass with Harry Kewell!

When: 7 June 2017, 5-7pm

Where: Henry Road, Pakenham 3191

What: This Masterclass is a key event hosted by hand selected coaches and Harry Kewell personally. Training is quite exclusive so each child will be trained at their skill level.

Cost: $99.00 – The Academy will only be accepting 100 participants so don’t miss out on an experience of a lifetime.

Who should attend: Participants aged 6-17 can participate in this Masterclass in a number of skills and drills with our select coaching staff.

Master the Mini Croquembouche

Where: Balla Balla Community Centre – 65 Berwick-Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East 3977

What: This is not as difficult as you think! As part of the Winter Art’s Festival, seriously impress your family and friends my learning how to create this delicious desert.

Cost: $35.00 – Cost includes all ingredients, please bring an apron and a container to take confection home.

Spectacular Cake Decorating!

When: 22 & 29 June 2017, 6-8pm

Where: Lynbrook Community Centre – Corner of Lynbrook Boulevard and Harris Street , Lynbrook 3976

What: Learn how to decorate a beautiful special occasion cake with delicious fondant icing. Note you need to attend both sessions and bring your own cake, either homemade or bought.

Cost: $40.00 for both sessions

Charlie Chaplin Movie Magic

When: 24 June 2017, 11am – 4pm

Where: Endeavour Hills Library – Raymond McMahon Boulevard, Endeavour Hills 3802

What: Join in for a day of Charlie Chaplin-inspired activities for the whole family. Featuring a creative activities station (11.00 am – 12.30 pm) where a professional will help you create a storyboard, props and movie costumes, a movies and music presentation that will explore the topic of music composition for film (1.00 pm) and then a screening of Charlie Chaplin’s silent film ‘The Rink’ with composer Tim Lukey performing a live score (2.00 pm). From 2.30pm watch Charlie Chaplin films ‘The Pawn Shop’, ‘The Immigrant’ and ‘The Floorwalker’.

Cost: FREE

Who should attend: This will be great fun for the whole family! All films are classified as G-rated however Casey-Cardinia Libraries recommends parental guidance.
